Perris highlight
Growing Inland Empire residential community
Riverside County has grown into the fourth-most populous county in California with 2.4 million residents as of 2020, driven by families seeking more affordable housing than coastal areas offer.

Riverside County was established in 1893 from portions of San Bernardino and San Diego counties. The county takes its character from remarkable geographic diversity: Mediterranean chaparral in the west, desert terrain in the center and east, and mountain ranges that stretch across 7,200 square miles. That geography has shaped the way the region grows, with communities like Perris developed to serve both the agriculture that first drew settlement and the suburban households moving in today.
Between 2007 and 2011, and continuing through the decade that followed, Los Angeles-area workers began relocating to the Inland Empire seeking more affordable housing and space for families. Riverside County's population reached 2.4 million as of the 2020 census, making it the fourth-most populous county in California. Perris and its neighboring communities represent that growth: neighborhoods of new families, young couples, and people establishing their first independent households.
That growth means Perris families are building toward milestones—a first home, children's schooling, business ownership—all things that depend on an income being there to support them. A term life policy matched to those years is how families protect that progress.
